Privacy Policy

The short version. We do not ask for your name, email or ID to use memefab, and we do not sell data. Your wallet address and transactions are public on the blockchain by design. Images and token details you upload go to IPFS and are public. We keep only what we need to run and protect the service.

1. Who is responsible

memefab is responsible for the personal information described here. This policy covers memefab.fun, app.memefab.fun and our bots. Our Terms of Service apply as well.

2. What we collect

Wallet and on-chain data. Your public wallet address and the transactions you make (creating tokens, buying, selling, claiming). This data is public on GIWA; we index it to show tokens, holders, trades and charts.
What you publish. Token names, symbols, descriptions, links and images you upload, and messages you sign in the app (for example a link change or a "call" on a token). These are public by design.
Technical data. Our servers receive your IP address and browser details with each request. We use them in short-lived logs for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention (for example blocking repeated failed logins).
Visitor counts. Our landing page counts visits without cookies. Unique visitors are estimated from a hash of the IP address, browser and a random value that is discarded every day, so visits cannot be linked across days; the IP address itself is not stored for this.
Cookies and local storage. A small number, only to remember preferences (such as currency display) and preview access. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Telegram bot. If you start our bot, we store your Telegram chat id and the tokens you choose to watch so we can send the alerts you asked for. Send /privacy to see this data and /stop to delete it.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, your name, government ID, email, seed phrase or private keys.

3. How we use it

to run the Services — show tokens and trades, render share cards, deliver alerts;
to keep them secure — detect abuse, spam, market manipulation and attacks, and enforce our Terms;
to understand overall usage in aggregate and improve the product;
to meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with providers that help us run the Services — hosting, networking and security, blockchain RPC and indexing, IPFS storage and gateways — under their own obligations, and when required by law or to protect users and the Services. Public blockchain and IPFS data is visible to anyone.

5. How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for short periods and then rotated out. Aggregated visitor counts are kept as daily totals. Telegram bot data is kept until you send /stop. Data you put on the blockchain or IPFS cannot be deleted by us — hiding a token on memefab stops us showing it, but the public record remains.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object. Because we hold very little that identifies you, we may need you to prove control of a wallet (by signing a message) before acting on a request. Contact us as described below.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections, restricted server access and rate limits. No system is perfectly secure; please protect your wallet and never share your seed phrase.

8. International processing

Our servers and providers may be located outside your country, and your information may be processed wherever they operate.

9. Children

The Services are not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will show the new date at the top; material changes will be announced on the site or on X. For privacy questions or requests, send a message to @memefab_fun on X.
